The interior design and decoration of your apartment will reflect the mountain environment surrounding our life here in the Alps. Local granites, wood treated by hand or naturally aged will be artfully combined with antique plaster surfaces to create an ambience that brings together the feel of the finest old alpine interiors and modern design.
Careful use of old and treated wood, plaster and stone in the living spaces, treated woods for the sleeping areas. Kitchens will include designer appliances and fittings and natural stone flooring. Bathrooms will have treated wood, smoothed and cut by hand, Dornbracht fittings & accessories, heated towel racks and under floor heating.
Using the most up-to-date lighting technology, owners will be able to create, memorise and re-create moods to enhance every occasion.
Exterior walls will be insulated and covered in both old wood, stone and old fashioned plaster surfaces. Balconies will be built in cedar and local timbers with old wood barriers cut in a pattern that has been designed specifically for “Cordée des Alpes”. Roof beams will be in treated and hand carved wood, the roof surface will be covered in stone and all guttering and external piping in copper.
